IberiaBank has promoted Edward Bienvenu to business banking relationship manager for the Acadiana market.

The Lafayette native joined the bank in 2015 as an intern before moving to New Orleans to participate in the company’s Management Development Program. He moved back to Lafayette later that year, accepting a position as a commercial underwriter, working extensively in the credit analysis and credit approval processes.

In his new role, Bienvenu is responsible for developing, managing and expanding business relationships with current clients, as well as seeking new business opportunities.

Bienvenu, who works out of the Downtown Lafayette IberiaBank Tower, has a bachelor’s degree in finance from LSU and an MBA from UL Lafayette.
