Lafayette Economic Development Authority President and CEO Gregg Gothreaux will present the 2016 LEDA Economic Performance Index at the fifth annual ABiz State of the Economy Luncheon Thursday, June 16, at noon. “This year’s State of the Economy presentation will answer some of the questions that persist about the local economy,” says Gothreaux. “We’ll take a closer look at how the downturn in the energy sector has affected the Economic Performance Index and other local indicators. Recent good news, diversification efforts and the community’s long-term outlook will round out the information shared this year.”

LEDA’s EPI is a dashboard summary that compiles 15,000 data points into 15 key statistics that provide instant insight and trends over time. Gothreaux’s analysis will provide a comprehensive view for business decision makers charting the future while also navigating an uncertain business climate.
